Kutuma is a peer-to-peer (P2P) logistics platform that connects users, who require delivery services for small or large items, with potential drivers who already plan to travel in the same direction as the items to be delivered. The platform works on basis of a bidding process.
The first step for a driver or a user who needs delivery services is to sign up on the platform. They create an account with their personal details such as name, email address, and phone number.
A user who needs delivery services creates a listing for the item they want to transport. They include details such as the dimensions, weight, pickup location, delivery location, and any special handling instructions.
The listing is then made available to drivers who have registered on the platform. Drivers review the details of the listing and can then submit a bid for the job, indicating the cost they will charge to transport the item.
The user who needs the delivery services can review the bids from drivers and accept the one that meets their requirements.
Once the bid is accepted, the platform facilitates the payment between the user and the driver. The user pays the agreed amount to the platform, which holds the funds until the delivery is completed.
The driver picks up the item from the user's location and transports it to the delivery location. The user can track the progress of the delivery through the platform.
Once the delivery is completed, the driver confirms the delivery through the platform. The platform then releases the payment to the driver.
After the delivery is completed, both the user and the driver can rate and provide feedback about their experience with each other.

Smart Virtual Guard system (V-Guard) is a reliable and vigilant virtual guard for motor vehicles, particularly when parked and out of sight. It reduces motor vehicle theft, break-in and jamming attempts.
V-Guard sends notifications to the driver after a certain period, alerting him/her of unlocked vehicle status.
V-Guard detects any jamming attempts from the surrounding areas and immediately alerts the driver. This alert helps the driver to be vigilant of their surroundings and ensure a vehicle is successfully locked.
V-Guard immediately activates its guarding capabilities which include:
- Monitoring statuses of vehicle doors, trunk, and alarm
- Sending notifications to the driver when a change in any of the status related to doors, trunk and alarm is immediately detected
- Providing an option to remotely cut petrol supply to the engine whenever a notification is received.
V-Guard needs to stay connected with a registered cell phone to stay connected and send alerts to the driver. Should a primary cell phone battery run out, V-Guard allows for seamless connectivity with a secondary cell phone for the driver to stay connected.
V-Guard allows the driver to use a unique shortcut dial from any cell phone to cut petrol supply to the engine of their vehicle at any time, particularly during emergencies such as hijacking.
The V-Guard system can:
- Provide real-time guarding when the vehicle is locked and out of the owner’s sight.
- Instantly notify the vehicle owner on their cell phone, should the vehicle lock status change while under guard, resulting in swift awareness of attempted theft or break-in. The system monitors the status of vehicle doors, trunk, and alarm.
- Notify users when vehicle is left unlocked
- Automatically detects remote vehicle jamming and instantly alerts the owner
- Provide an agile means of reaction to vehicle owners during hijacking, by availing an option to stop petrol supply to the engine from any cell phone unit
- Allow phone swap for flexible and maximum connectivity. This is useful for those individuals with multiple phones or travelling with someone. If one phone dies, this functionality will allow connectivity from an alternative phone
Core Functions
V-Guard STANDARD detects vehicle jamming attempts from nearby surroundings and immediately triggers alarm for driver’s attention and awareness.
V-Guard PLUS in addition to vehicle jamming detection, this package notifies the driver whenever the vehicle is left unlocked for a certain period.
V-Guard PRO provides a comprehensive vehicle guard system which includes vehicle jamming detection, unlocked vehicle notifications, as well as virtual guard of the vehicle when parked and out of sight.
V-Guard HIJACK allows the driver to remotely cut petrol supply to the engine immediately after hijacking incident using any cell phone. This is a complementary function available with any of the other packages (V-Guard STANDARD or V-Guard PLUS or V-Guard PRO).
